autopsy

when i use autopsy on a floppy (i have not tried a hard disk) I can only extract strings how can I see the deleted files

I would guess that, like the case in the above link, that the FAT was overwritten or otherwise corrupted.

I've only ever recovered data from and worked with hard drives, so Google will be a lot more helpful than I will.
